The Annuities Distribution Finance Team plays a key role leading and supporting internal and external reporting, forecasting and analysis of $8b Annuities Sales, $160b of Assets Under Management (AUM) and $300m of Distribution Expenses. The team also plays a key role by providing strategic support and analysis of distribution growth initiatives. 



Reporting to The Director of Distribution Finance within Annuities Finance, this position is responsible for monitoring and analysis of daily sales trends, providing insightful analysis around sales results including preparation of executive level presentation materials. This role also plays a critical role supporting the sales budgeting and forecasting process for The Annuities Business.  This position works with many key stakeholders across The Annuities Business and Finance teams including, Sales Operations, National Sales Managers (NSMs), Strategic Relationship Management (SRM), the Annuities Financial Management team, Investor Relations, U.S. Businesses Finance, Business Intelligence and various Actuarial groups.  



Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to collaborating with, motivating and influencing others and establishing processes and controls to insure accurate and timely reporting of monthly and quarterly close and forecasts. Primary responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for internal sales reporting and analysis including daily sales trend analysis sent weekly to senior management 
  • Create business cases for new strategic distribution opportunities that capture upfront expenses, sales growth potential and on-going support requirements  and measure key financial impacts including AOI, Cash Flow and NPV
  • Prepares executive level presentation materials for the monthly sales forecast deck, as well as, sales by product, firm, and channel 
  • Maintains appropriate internal controls, including data accuracy and completeness, as well as, reconciling data to the appropriate sources
  • Manages the sales forecasting processes in the OBERO forecasting tool and preparation of forecast reports with various levels of detail 
  • Preparation of internal management reporting documents and presentation to senior management as needed 
  • Research and analysis for ad-hoc requests 

Additionally, the team is responsible for internal and external Sales and AUM reporting, including consolidation and analysis of AUM drivers and quarterly financial statement reporting. The successful candidate will be expected to learn and assist with the following on an as needed basis: 

  • Responsible for preparation of comprehensive monthly sales deck for senior management that provides insightful analysis of Annuities monthly sales results
  • Collaboration with Business Intelligence group on monthly and quarterly validation of Annuities Sales and AUM data
  • Consolidation and analysis of drivers for Annuities Assets Under Management in a monthly Flash Report 

    • Preparation of Quarterly Financial Statement (QFS) submission for Annuities Assets Under Management (AUM Roll forward)
    • Responsible for the quarterly AUM by entity consolidation process


    • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or business related fields
    • 3 - 5 years of accounting / financial analysis experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to foster and build relationships across multiple departments
    • Superior analytical skills and financial modeling experience
    • Self motivated and proactive, with attention to detail, due dates and deadlines
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, and challenging environment
