As a Pharmacy Care Technician, you'll be responsible for direct communication with team members, patients and health care providers to ensure prompt processing and delivery of prescriptions. Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete Prior Authorizations for Jynarque prescriptions
""
• Provide communication with Otsuka team, physician's offices and insurances regarding active claims
""
• Process member transactions through various computer systems ensuring accuracy
""
• Educate team members to obtain proper documentation necessary for prescription approval
""
• Partner with others to gather additional information and / or to interpret clinical guidelines
""
• Be a subject matter expert on Prior Authorizations related to Jynarque

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 6+ months of pharmacy experience in retail/mail order pharmacy

• Current, unrestricted pharmacy technician license in Arizona, Trainee license or National certification from the PTCB

• You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.

• Employees are required to screen for symptoms using theProtectWellmobileapp, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phonesystem)or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior toentering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe.Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expectedto wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.
