Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record
  • ""
  • Resolve patient issues while ensuring accurate information is provided
  • ""
  • Schedule patient deliveries and refills
  • ""
  • Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls as needed
  • ""
  • Basic tasks are completed without review by others
  • ""
  • May need to assist with other areas of the pharmacy
  • ""
  • May compound medications using appropriate components, supplies and sterile environment. If perform sterile compounding, compound IV medications in a clean room environment, use USP797 guidelines for sterile compounding and maintain clean room environment. Perform daily/weekly/ monthly cleaning of room and equipment according to SOPs
  • ""
  • Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included
  • ""
  • May also perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product
  • ""
  • Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, submit prescription orders in computer system. Contact members/patients to validate data, resolve rejected claims, request payment information, establish priority of order or delivery details

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • ""
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in State of Missouri
  • ""
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using theProtectWellmobileapp, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phonesystem)or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior toentering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe.Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expectedto wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.
