**ROLE SUMMARY** Supporting Pfizer Sterile Injectables product in the US, the Associate Healthcare Sales team role is to increase product sales/revenues within assigned geographies and to attain the goals of the Pfizer Injectable Business. At the conclusion of 18-24 months of successful performance in position the sales representative will be eligible to post and compete for a field sales role and other opportunities within Pfizer.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Sell Pfizer Injectable products to accounts within an assigned territory via phone.

+ The rep may be required to travel to hospitals to complete a sale, identify potential sales opportunities through customer analysis, make product/contract presentations, and/or provide product in servicing to acute care facilities.

+ Understand the customer and market landscape within assigned geographies

+ Successfully implement the strategic call plan and related message segmentation and tactic mix to meet or exceed product business objectives for assigned geographies

+ Analyze account sales, utilization, and trends via sales reporting, Veeva for call reporting and account management, Microsoft Excel applications and Tableau.

+ Model all aspects of the current Pfizer selling model, including pre-call planning, effective opening, presentation focus, productive questions, issue handling and effective closing

+ Exhibit strong business acumen through effective customer analysis, including analyzing previous customer interactions, available sales reports, and competitive sales data (e.g., sales trends, competitive landscape) to maximize effectiveness of each call, and based on that information, tailoring a unique sales approach for each office

+ Operate in an internal team environment that is based on a culture of high collaboration and that encourages innovative ideas

+ Understand and use approved promotional materials to support marketing message

+ Follow all Good Promotional Practices and Compliance procedures and policies

+ Prepare for and actively participate in all required sales conferences and training classes at local and/or remote locations

+ Undertake self-study and career development programs, whether through Pfizer or own initiative, and continually strives to improve knowledge, skills and capabilities

+ The selected candidate will have with a "can do" attitude, high degree of professionalism and business acumen; ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, build relationships, credibility across the organization and quickly assume responsibility in a complex, matrix environment.

+ Highly skilled in all forms of communication (i.e. oral, written, presentations) at team, peer and executive levels.

+ Possess the ability to present analysis with the initiative to make clear recommendations, able to build relationships and credibility internally and externally and facilitates the flow of information within the organization; be an innovative thinker, collaborative, approachable, intuitive, relatable to employees, a relationship builder within a complete organization, trusted/trustworthy with a rollup-your-sleeves get it done approach, self-starter, entrepreneurial mentality, passionate, energetic, detail oriented, organized, driven, accountable and process oriented driving business results.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Bachelor's degree required

+ Goal-oriented individual with a strong desire to be in sales; have core skills of customer service orientation, initiative, planning and follow up, work management, and judgment/problem solving.

+ Able to be on telephone up to 6 hours per day and speak clearly and effectively to all assigned customers



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ No previous sales experience required, but preferred.
