Responsible for performing valdiations to ensure accurate and timely payrolls for several Latin American countries. Ensures reconciliations of payroll balance sheets accounts and payroll outsourcer records to Oracle are complete. Also includes the identification, notification and recovery of employee overpayments in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Compare HR input against output from payroll vendor for any discrepancies. Work with vendors and/or HR to resolve discrepancies before finalizing payroll. Complete payroll checklist each payroll and ensure it balances from previous month Retrieves HR input and puts in required vendor format (using excel, vlookups, macros, etc) Serves as main point of contact with employees. Respond to employee inquiries timely and accurately. Ensure all payroll accounting transactions supplied by outsourcers are uploaded to Oracle within the book-close timetable. Prepare and upload journal entries of employee cost related entries. Prepare accruals per company benefit policies & local country rules. Identify overpayments, notify employees and work with employees on recovery plan Tier 2 employee ticket support for overpayments Q room monitoring Responsible for handling process center forms, overpayment letters & completing pay close reports

Key Competencies and Skills:

Accounting & payroll experience Analytical Ability to prioritize projects and work, often with deadlines and competing interests Efficient in various Microsoft products, strong in excel, ability to work with macros Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work as a team member Able to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision Good time management and prioritization skills Experience of working in a financial environment International Accounting and Audit experience

Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma, finance/accounting degree preferred - Advanced English Business & Financial Acumen
