The Healthcare Professional (HCP) / Healthcare Organization (HCO) Payment Transparency Specialist will contribute to the effort to generate high quality, accurate, and consistent data incorporated into reports related to HCP and HCO payment disclosures.

Payment Transparency Specialist will utilize Payment Transparency CoE standards, processes to collect, monitor, reconcile and correct data from multiple financial/expense/customer engagement sources to ensure data quality and completeness. This includes specifically looking for duplicate transactions, outliers, data errors and feeding back opportunities for process improvement to source systems and business data owners.

Payment Transparency Specialist will collaborate with market implementation leads, compliance and legal stakeholders as needed to ensure timely production of transparency reports. Additionally, this position will partner with Business Process Owners across the organization to ensure that applicable systems evolve to meet public disclosure needs.

The position requires a strong commitment to the continuous improvement vision.

Roles and Responsibilities

+ Implement a consistent approach to reporting HCP/HCO Transparency Reporting data across markets allocated.

+ Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop a strategy for collecting required information for disclosure.

+ Manage the data clarification process across data sources to ensure data integrity including the ability to accurately associate payments with a unique HCP/HCO and their respective consent in order to produce accurate and timely reports for publication as per market timelines.

+ Respond to ad hoc requests for clarification, additional information and/or reports regarding HCP/HCO payments.

+ Contribute and adhere to Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and compliance standards.

+ Partner with internal and external stakeholders to continue to improve on the processes for collecting required information for disclosure.

+ Respond to queries from management, business unit leaders, and other stakeholders as needed in relation to transparency reporting information for markets assigned.

+ Assist in periodic audits and inspections by internal audit or external regulators.

+ Remediate issues resulting from audit findings or compliance related matters.


+ BA/BSc degree required.

+ Fluency in oral and written English is required.

+ Fluency in French is strongly preferred.

+ Strong analytical capabilities combined with superior organizational skills.

+ Strong technical skills, including experience/ knowledge of user query tools (Excel/Access), underlying financial & reporting systems (SAP, Ariba, CVent, Concur, Business Objects) is desirable.

+ Experience in finance, compliance, accounting, or management information systems in the pharmaceutical industry or related field a plus

+ Relevant experience in Transpa rency initiatives including the understanding of HCP/HCO Payment Disclosure policies a plus

+ Experienced and comfortable working in cross-functional and matrix teams.

+ Demonstrated skills in teamwork and customer focus.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
