The Patient Experience Coordinator reports to the Patient Experience Manager. The Coordinators primary responsibility is addressing customer grievances and feedback through telephone and email. The Coordinator will also assist in facilitating customer service training and serve as liaison for health plan complaints and resolutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customer

  • Represents the Company in a professional manner, following all Company policies and procedures
  • ""
  • Uses, protects, and discloses patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • ""
  • Responsible for handling incoming health plan complaints and providing a written response by the assigned due date
  • ""
  • Fields incoming calls and works with Center Administrators to resolve member complaints
  • ""
  • Completes monthly termed member report
  • ""
  • Facilitates customer service training
  • ""
  • Assists with running CG-CAHPS survey reports upon request
  • ""
  • Provides monthly reporting to Patient Experience Manager
  • ""
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • ""
  • Must have consistent, punctual and reliable attendance
  • ""
  • Ability to travel may be required

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service setting with two of those years in direct contact with the public
  • "

  • Some college

  • Bilingual English / Spanish
  • ""
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including superior phone skills
  • ""
  • Presentation skills
  • ""
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Possess a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Access
  • ""
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance

  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently
