The Patient Account Representative is responsible for insurance balances. Works daily with insurance companies handling unresolved inquiries / issues / denials with payers. Responsible for reviewing invoices and contact various insurance companies for payment on outstanding claims in a timely manner for physician charges. Manage and process Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial claims on 1500 / UB04 through the payers website. Submit reconsideration / appeals with supportive documentations as appropriate according to coding and specific insurance policies and procedures. Review correspondence and remittance for rejections and resolve as appropriate.

This position is full - time (40 hours / week). Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM including the flexibility to work weekends based on business need.Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Required Qualification:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

• 1+ years of customer service experience

• 1+ of Medicare and Medicaid payer experience

• 1+ years of experience in medical insurance billing and follow - up

• Basic proficiency with using Windows personal computer applications and Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word (create, edit, format), Microsoft Excel (create, edit, format), and Microsoft PowerPoint (create, edit, format)

• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM including the flexibility to work weekends based on business need
