What You'll Do

The new Customer Experience Partner Renewal Manager (PRM) role is a highly visible, strategic position to support partners to continue to transform and develop their renewal practices for both services and software. The PRM holistically governs Ciscos relationship with the partner with regards to renewals, in alignment with the Partner Account Manager.

You will work with partners and Cisco partner teams to define a strategy to accelerate renewals growth to on-time closure for both services and software, as well as minimize renewals risk and financial attrition. You will bring solid understanding of negotiation strategies and orchestrates cross-functional resources across the company to develop the partners renewal practices.


Key Responsibilities And Activities

  • Build deep relationships with partner executives that are executers in the renewal practice build/motion to understand their objectives and challenges, in order to identify areas of focus to accelerate their renewals practice
  • Development of joint renewals practice plan with partner, and co-ordination of execution alongside the Cisco partner team (PAM, PBM, PBDS, Digital Partner BDM)
  • Drive simplification and optimization using CX IB methodology drive partner adoption
  • Drive scale and automation through adoption of LCA and API integration, in collaboration with the Digital Partner BDM
  • Co-ordinate enablement required for the partner
  • Governance of the partners renewals business by having monthly top renewals and renewal rate reviews, and quarterly renewal performance metrics reviews (to be part of PAM owned QBR)
  • Support for large/complex deal transactions and closure
  • Identify growth opportunities and engage PAM/PBDS/RM/AM, to define renewal and upsell opportunity

Who You Are

The ideal candidate possesses a diverse set of capabilities, including partner business development, go-to-market strategy, and project management.

Several years of experience in vendor or direct partner interfacing role, lifecycle consulting, and with a deep understanding of business development to create long-term value.

You love partner interactions and understand customer & partner needs to align with multi-functional teams.

  • Excellent executive level communication and presentation skills
  • Strong process management skills and financial acumen
  • Excellent understanding of partner routes to market
  • Proven ability to think and act strategically and proactively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and an ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Experience of working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment.
  • You have high levels of energy.

Required Experience

  • Business development experience requiredwith a minimum of 5 years
  • Several years of sales experience within a partner environment, services and/or software
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Native or fluent German and fluent English skills, both in speaking and writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
