About the role

The AppDynamics Channel Organization is quickly evolving into the growth engine for AppDynamics. To support this growth, this role will work closely with channel sales leadership to develop go-to-market strategy, create supporting partner programs and accelerate strategic projects. This is an individual contributor position working in collaboration with a broad range of disciplines across AppDynamics to rapidly grow Reseller, Systems Integrator, Service Provider, Cloud, and Alliance partner businesses.As a critical influencer in the growth and success of the global channel, this role is transformative and can be rapidly changing and entrepreneurial. Requires proven track record in partner program creation and management (including messaging, launching, operations, analytics as well as working with business systems and operations teams)

  • Manage and develop highly transactional global partners programs from strategy, analysis, design, to launch.
  • Enhance or formulate new programs that may include Partner Tiering, Partner Led, and Services sales motions.
  • Develop program collaterals, requirements, benefits, compliance audits, and administrative oversight.
  • Collaborate with Cisco and AppD teams to amplify Channel impact through Cisco sellers.
  • Analyze business trends and present insights to leadership with your hypothesis and recommendations.
  • Collect and synthesize qualitative feedback from sellers, partners and customers to identify new program opportunities.
  • Create analysis and content to help the broader channel team educate partners on performance and initiatives.
  • Establish metrics and success criteria across the program portfolio.

  • Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in partner program, partner management, partner operations, consulting or related experience
  • Understanding of the channel in the high-tech industry and various partner business models
  • Analytical, critical thinker, and problem solver with ability to think through processes improvements, understand downstream implications, and design process level details
  • Be able to work within a constantly changing and demanding environment, while project managing and prioritizing multiple tasks at one time.
  • Clear, concise communicator at ease in front of executives
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Naturally curious
