What You'll Do
You will develop and lead the Data Center and Cloud business with CDW. Your primary responsibility is the development and ongoing support of the following key business initiatives between our Partners and Cisco: executive relationships, practice building, field alignment/engagement, partner enablement, partner profitability, sales training, pipeline development (sales & incentive programs creation), opportunity identification (sales mentoring, strategic sales calls, outbound calling etc.), marketing and demand generation, and coordination of cross-functional activity.

Who You'll Work With
You will have tight alignment with your Partners, Segment Leadership, GTM Leads from the Business Units and the Technical Leads on the Americas Partner Architecture & Engineering teams. In addition, you will work independently across many of the Cisco functional areas including direct sales, strategic alliances, customer experience, and marketing. This role will report to the Director of Data Center and Cloud Architectures in APO.

Who You Are
You must be able to demonstrate an ability to excel within a cross-functional team. The ability to develop and sustain virtual teams is essential. You should exhibit strong sales skills, critical thinking, business and technical acumen around Ciscos Data Center and Cloud portfolios as well as possess superior leadership skills. You have:

       Minimum of 10 years of data center and/or cloud industry experience working with partners/reseller channels on building practices and driving business growth.

       Excellent knowledge of overall IT industry and trends around Networking, Computing, Storage, Security, Applications, Containers, DevOps and Cloud including a working knowledge of AWS, GCP, and/or Microsoft Azure.

       You have a strong understanding of Ciscos Data Center and Cloud Architectures.

       You have partner sales and business development experience working with US reseller partners around Data Center and Cloud Architectures.

       Experience with practice building and/or creating services around Cisco solutions to increase partner relevance.

       Excellent collaboration skills to lead and/or influence a cross-functional team of stakeholders in a virtual environment.

       You have excellent written communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to work closely across both sales and technology groups.

       Advanced financial background in developing ROI and TCO justifications.

       Ability to set priorities followed by the creation and execution of business plans to produce measurable results.

       Ability to identify and resolve problems.

       Very strong executive presence with the ability to work at all levels within a partner from the C-Suite to sales leaders.

       Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and up to 30% travel availability.

       Experience with CDW is required.

       Location:  Chicago, IL metropolitan area.
