The Partner Account Manager in Cisco is the key contact for our customers and partners. You will own and nurture the relationships, building and executing the sales strategy.

You will lead and own partner related activities and manage the strategic development of our Channel Partners in alignment with the Global Cisco Partner Strategy




       Establishes trusted advisor relationships with assigned Cisco Partner(s) at all levels.

       Acts as a Partner advocate within Cisco who orchestrates deep relationships between Partner(s), Direct Sales Leaders and their account teams, and the broader Cisco business.

       Develop relationships with account managers, specialists, and internal resource within aligned Partner(s)

       Engage with Partner(s) on strategic/complex deals

       Acts as a strategic business advisor that helps Partner(s) develop business outcome-based solutions and capture market transitions for sustainable, profitable growth.

       Focuses on enablement with Partner(s) to develop sales talent, skills and capabilities.

       Promotes adoption of certifications, specialisations and Cisco Partner Programs.

       Guides partners on how to fully utilise Cisco's programs, promotions and resources to increase profitability.

       Develop Partner(s) account plans, monitor performance on identified KPIs, and track capability development against roadmap

       Represent Cisco and Ciscos Partner strategy at key events/conferences and in the press and establish Cisco as the Vendor #1

       Identify co-funding opportunities and support Partner(s) in driving agreed activities/initiatives

  • Own and manage weekly booking process activities with partners in close alignment with Cisco sales operations and operation lead
  • Ensures Operational readiness, compensation, business metrics definition
  • Ensuring 100% compliance with internal rules and local laws
  • Represent Cisco and Ciscos Partner strategy at key events/conferences and in the press and establish Cisco as the Vendor #1

Who You Are


       A business background that enables engagement with Business Decision Makers along with a sales background that will enable collaboration within Cisco and our Partner community

       You must be able to demonstrate an ability to excel within a cross-functional team environment.

       Strong team player and Leadership skills, ability to lead and motivate distributed teams also in a matrix organization

       Strong communicator and presenter, ability to speak to bigger groups.

       Strong operational skills, ability to execute agreed programs

       The skills to develop a Business Plan that combines the Partners key initiatives and Ciscos priorities for mutual success in the marketplace

       You should have a track record in selling IT solutions and knowledge and competence within networking and communication solutions is a clear advantage.

       Must have strong relationship selling skills and be able to lead sales calls at every level of an account.

       Must be a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking ability. Understanding of business organisations and their buying cycles is required.

       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
