This position is for an Operational Trainer within the Optum Operations Training organization. The candidate will support areas within the Claims business units. Chief responsibilities of this position will be to deliver front line training curriculum for new hires and existing employees in the business units identified. The person also functions as a SME and delivers process, procedure and systems training for multiple claim platforms and ancillary systems associated with Optum or its clients. The candidate will work closely with Operational Teams to identify training opportunities, coach operational employees and will work with Training Leadership to develop training team members.

• Manage end to end knowledge transfer (learn the process, get certified, prepare daily/weekly dashboards etc.)
• Deliver/facilitate new hire training for respective process or where the trainer may get cross skilled into
• Deliver new hire and incumbent job specific training using innovative methods that increase retention and enhance cost effectiveness, basis approved standardized curriculum.
• Conduct weekly/monthly RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to determine area of opportunities and thereby induce action plan to improve performance
• Deliver ongoing refresher training based on development needs.
• Responsible for getting Train the Trainer Certified by the Mainland/OGS Team.
• Responsible for measuring and tracking pre and post training performance.
• Responsible for tracking assessment scores.
• Organize, coordinate and communicate training programs for the business.
• Provide constructive feedback on regular basis.
• Partner with leadership to provide coaching during training.
• Provide feedback to management on individual and group training results.
• Provide feedback to the instructional design team.
• Training Development.
• Review and update training materials as needed.

**ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION**

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work our normal business hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm AST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime, weekends or holidays. We have 2 different locations in the metropolitan area. (This position can be in any of those locations)
