Take on this managerial role withinOptumand youll be part of a team supporting our commercial clients. As a manager within the Fraud, Waste and Error (FWAE) team you will be responsible for leading front - line clinical and non - clinical investigators to ensure our CPI clients productivity and quality contract Service Level Agreements are met.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am 5:00pm.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Provide leadership to clinical and non - clinical FWAE investigator
  • ""
  • Participate / lead activities that increase employee engagement
  • ""
  • Provide insight to Associate Director on staffing needs due to claim inventory
  • ""
  • Manage workflow to prevent claim backlog
  • ""
  • Perform data analysis of staff performance to identify performance gaps that requires staff
  • ""
  • Provide assistance to Associate Director during client implementations
  • ""
  • Lead client operational workgroups (i.e. Letters, PIRT, Escalations) as necessary
  • ""
  • Analyze quality audit results for investigators
  • ""
  • Conduct education / mentoring as needed to clinical investigators on Quality Audit results
  • ""
  • Perform client claim research as necessary to resolve high priority issues
  • ""
  • Participate and provide feedback in staffing interviews
  • ""
  • Identify root cause claim batch errors / issues
  • ""
  • Serve as point person for onboarding newly hired investigators
  • "

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience with health insurance business, industry terminology and regulatory guidelines
  • ""
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations
  • ""
  • 1+ years of leadership experience OR 1+ years of experience initiating and leading a special project and/or providing mentorship to peers
  • ""
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will berequiredto screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.   • 2+ years of experience working in Fraud, Waste and Error

  • 2+ years of experience working in client/project management role

  • 2+ years of experience developing Process/Quality improvements

Colorado Residents Only: The salaryrange for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
