Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is PepsiCos beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada. This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization. Job Description: The New Business Lead for Food Service will execute a selling strategy in securing local new business accounts for the market through prospecting and cold calling customers. Customers for this segment may include: Restaurants, Colleges and Universities, Hospitals, Workplaces, Recreation and Education accounts. Responsible for securing local new business accounts for the market through prospecting and cold calling customers Covers one market & focus on metro area Align with BDM on any multi-market account and prestige customers and/or may have bottler involvement Own the customer market database for existing contracts and new business for 3 years out Work closely with FSRs, BDM and Channel Managers to align on new business targets and conversions Lead the new business agenda for the market Develop team selling capabilities through route rides and training Own know & go maintenance process by period Drive Sysco acquisition as the lead expert Responsible for new business selling deck, insights for the market, for brand positioning in the market, share data, and competitive analysis Responsible for setting up and onboarding new customers and successfully transitioning them to the FSR route Qualifications/Requirements A minimum of 2 years of fact-based selling experience Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
