AT&T has an opening for Network Operations Lead. The Network Operations Lead plans, directs, maintains, and coordinates network installation, maintenance, and operations for all Tier II and Tier III personnel. He/she must be capable of tactical and strategic planning to ensure that their team members stay compliant with company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other responsibilities include managing all aspects of how we deliver network services, management of connectivity, network performance, maintaining network software configurations, coordinating network and system troubleshooting between teams, and providing technical assessments to our customer.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Communicate with customers to determine customer needs.

+ Lead network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.

+ Determine specific network hardware or software requirements, such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.

+ Develop and implement solutions for network problems.

+ Develop procedures to track and report network availability, reliability, capacity, or utilization.

+ Develop or recommend network security measures, such as firewalls, network security audits, or automated security probes.

+ Evaluate network designs to determine if requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

+ Monitor and analyze network performance and data input/output reports to detect problems, identify inefficient use of computer resources, or perform capacity planning.

+ Participate in network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware and software and integration testing.

+ Communicate with vendors to gather information about products, to alert them to future needs, to resolve problems, or to address system maintenance issues.

+ Develop network-related documentation.

+ Supervise engineers and other staff in the design or implementation of network solutions.

+ Ensure team members have all access to all necessary systems and resources necessary to maintain day-to-day operations.

+ Develop and maintain O&M processes and procedures.

+ Define and participate in the processes for troubleshooting, fault isolation, and timely outage resolution.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain/maintain a polygraph. (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years of experience OR Masters and 10 years, Bachelors and 12 years, Associates and 14 years or HS and 16 years. Must meet IAT Level 2 certification requirements.
