Role Description:

The National Retail Sales Strategy Associate Manager plays a key role in leading the development of the AOP strategy for PBNAs Enterprise Customer teams and ensuring PBNA strategic priorities are delivered. This role partners with Enterprise Customer teams, PBNA Division teams, Sector Commercial teams and Finance teams to develop strategies and achieve results. The Associate Manager will support the communication and execution of brand priorities and tools across Enterprise Customers to deliver sales, profit, and share goals. An ideal candidate has demonstrated interest in sales strategy, strong collaboration and influence skills, ability to use insights/analysis to drive action, and excellent communication skills. This role presents the opportunity to gain Sector Commercial experience, work closely with Enterprise Customer sales teams, and gain exposure to senior PBNA leadership.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop PBNA Retail AOP strategy leveraging category/channel insights and analytics
  • Translate strategies into actionable plans and tools (sell stories, playbooks) that can be leveraged by customer teams and Division partners
  • Analyze customer and channel performance to identify retail problems/opportunities and develop solutions using insights
  • Support the Enterprise Customer teams and Sector Commercial organization through reporting and tracking of AOP priorities and yearly goals
  • Produce standardized data reports as well as customized channel-specific analysis and communicate progress against initiatives
  • Present regularly to senior leadership and support National Sales and Commercial leaders in developing materials for executive meetings
  • Support PBNA planning and coordination for key retail industry events


  • Bachelors Degree required; MBA degree preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant Sales, Category Management, and/or Insights experience
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience using syndicated data sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen)
  • Excellent analytical skills demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently with direction
  • Collaborative team player; ability to influence and develop cross-functional partnerships
