Multi-Architect BDM 

 

What Youll Do:

In this role within Ciscos Customer Experience (CX) Midwest Atlantic (MWA) Business Development organization, you will focus on business development, drive growth and expansion of multi-architecture engagements to Ciscos Asia Pacific Country Global Enterprise Model (CGEM) Customers that have headquarters in the United States. This position is an individual contributor role in CX MWA organization with the primary responsibility to drive the business development growth by developing and introducing CGEM clients to customer specific multi-architecture solutions.

 

He/she should have or be able to develop a working knowledge of horizontal Cisco architectures, products and solutions capable of delivering a value proposition to Cisco customers. Given his/her industry knowledge and end user contacts, this individual will take a consultative approach to identify and open doors with key prospects, develop customer specific solutions, engage in the creation of each opportunity and secure a paid booking, while working closely with Cisco sales teams and other stakeholders including key delivery partners, and where required.

  • Drive financial performance metrics including bookings, revenue, and margin.
  • Responsible for understanding the clients business while developing high impact Customer Experience proposals and statement of works.
  • Responsible for building relationships and trusted advisor status with top executives at assigned accounts.
  • Cultivate internal cross-function relationships to ensure delivery of multi-architecture solutions. 
  • Develop level-of-effort and work with assigned organizations to convert LoE to quotes.
  • Develop and present to the client approved proposals, statement of works and service descriptions.

 

Who Youll Work With:

As a Multi-Architect BDM you will work across the CGEM account teams within your defined accounts and communicate directly with Cisco sales and delivery teams and Cisco customers and partners. The ability to inspire and create excitement within the sales team, as well as across the entire organization and in the marketplace is a key attribute. This candidate will understand the nuances of building value of complex solutions, as well as other new products as Cisco expands in this market. The candidate must be able to balance both short term goals with a longer-term vision and have a clear sense for how they will evolve the organization to grow and deliver the Cisco value proposition over the next several years to come. Lastly, the potential candidate must possess the highest level of integrity and be able to establish trust and confidence in our employees, partners and customers. 

 

Who You Are:

Applicants should have significant knowledge of Cisco technologies and managing IT programs by either being a CISO, CTO, CIO or by orchestrating IT programs as an executive consultant advising C-Level clients. The successful candidate should have diverse experience with the recent security threats, cloud and mobility trends, governance/risk/compliance, datacenter, networking and collaboration.  Applicants should appreciate the value of and adherence to strong processes.  The ideal candidate will be one that provides ongoing process improvement ideas to help streamline and make processes more efficient.
