Qualcomm's Analog and Mixed-Signal Team (AMS) designs analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for baseband SOCs, RF transceiver ICs for a variety of smart phones, smart books and other wireless consumer electronic devices. These designs include analog circuits and systems containing data converters (ADCs/DACs), timing circuits like Phase Lock Loops(PLLs), analog filters, low drop out linear voltage regulators, precision references, comparators and high speed SERDES and DDR PHY design techniques such as CTLE, DFE, pre-emphasis and CDR.

Responsibilities:

Apply your analog/mixed-signal design and verification expertise to the development of mobile communication systems and wired peripherals. Circuits of interest are: ADCs, DACs, PLLs, high speed SERDES, DDR PHYs, continuous time and switched-cap filters, voltage regulators and precision references. Low voltage and low power CMOS design techniques in nanometer technologies are emphasized. Candidate is also expected to perform analog and mixed-signal layout, modeling and verification tasks.
