Migration Engineers play a key role in ensuring delivery of Cisco services and technology to our company's customers. We are seeking a Migration Engineer, based in the US, to support migrations from various legacy Cisco systems to Webex Calling. The incumbent will manager relationships with our customer and partners to ensure that ongoing client needs are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing large enterprise projects with our partners
  • Supervises incident management, change management, problem management for assigned projects.
  • Customer communications; primary interface for all customer issues
  • Manages implementation and optimization of Customer migrations
  • Leads weekly Customer status calls for larger projects
  • Leads senior-level technical teams
  • Supervises Customer, Partner, and Cisco internal processes
  • Responsible for a number of multifaceted activities, gathering, analyzing data as well as formulating strategies and actions
  • Identify risk or change and apply to the project without disrupting timelines or daily activities
  • Provide professional implementation and support services to clients resulting in smooth, well-coordinated implementations that meet targeted live dates
  • Solve any issues encountered during Customer migration for timely resolution to maintain a positive Customer experience.
  • Manage multi-functional delivery teams and workflows ensuring resources and processes are in place to delivery the project and meet the customers requirements

Who You Are

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience related to VoIP Implementation or Network Engineering and deploying in customer setting
  • Technical telecommunications or networking engineering background
  • Ability to work with multi-functional teams including Account Teams, Customers, Service Delivery, and Operations
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Desired Skills:

  • Broadworks knowledge a plus
  • Previous experience in service manager or delivery manager role preferred
  • Creative, flexible problem solver who is willing to take initiative and share alternative solutions with peers and management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with troubleshooting / problem solving
  • Willingness to support early morning meetings to accommodate Europe hours when required
