About Summerlin Hospital:

Summerlin Hospital is a 485-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Childrens Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, womens health and oncology care. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center, and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines program.

Job Description:

Responsible for managing clinical nutrition, diet office and dietary needs of the patients. Administrative responsibilities include departments Performance Improvement, formulary, and assists in meeting all state, federal and The Joint Commission standards.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the American Dietetic Association.


At least two years clinical experience in an acute care hospital or institutional food service facility.

Technical Skills:

Computer proficient.


Valid registration as a Registered Dietician from the American Dietetics Association (ADA). May be required State licensure as required by Nevada State Law. Specialty certification (CDE, CNSD, CSP, CDR) may be required for a specialty position.


Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
