MEA Strategy and Planing Manager

What You'll Do

Cisco MEA is the most diverse theatre in the EMEAR sales organisation. Spanning 70 countries across 2 continents with multiple languages and religions MEA is without a doubt varied.

We are currently looking for strong analytical thinker to drive problem solving, analysis and alignment with multiple senior stakeholders working with a cross-functional team. The role reports into MEA Strategy and Planning lead, and requires engaging with stakeholders from MEA Sales, Architectural teams, Customer experience (CX), Finance, Operations, Human Resources (HR) and Marketing.

Youll be:

  • A trusted advisor to the Regional GMs, extensively collaborating with their management teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Involved in driving strategy definition and execution within MEA,
  • Working with EMEAR S&P to accelerate our transformation by actively supporting EMEAR-wide initiatives.
  • contributing to strategic direction for growth planning, GTM approach (e.g. segmentation and sales coverage), business processes, marketing execution, and executive-level communications.
  • responsible for overall business and organizational analysis to ensure that sound business decisions are made and executed in timeously.
  • leading the development of business plans and supporting data to ensure integrity in the planning process.

The role is structured around 3 core areas:

  • Planning
  • Theatre Growth Planning and Execution: Develop and execute short and long-term Theatre Growth Strategy, ensuring alignment with Cisco and EMEAR 1-3 year priorities.
  • Business planning and review cycle (quarterly, annual and long-range), ensuring tight cross-functional interlock.
  • GTM Transformation
  • Orchestrate theatre change management approach to maintain integrity of GTM model evolution in the field.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Drive strategic direction and execution of operational readiness and run the business activities in close collaboration with Business Operations Partner, including New Year readiness; sales enablement; talent management and employee engagement.

  • You have strong financial acumen with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You are an excellent communicator, able to simplify complex information in a simple and compelling way to drive action.
  • You can bring order and simplicity to unstructured situations, focusing a team on actions to achieve the desired outcome.
  • You have a track record of tackling intricate business problems, finding new opportunities, and creating viable solutions. You are not afraid to constructively challenge others to help transform and innovate.
  • You have a proven ability to develop strong relationships and confidence across levels, roles, and functions to influence and lead outside of your direct organization.
  • You are adaptable, with an ability to rapidly iterate your point of view and make decisions based on a fast-paced Sales culture and industry

  • You have knowledge and experience in working across MEA.

 

Our Minimum Requirements for this Role are:

  • 8+ years related experience
  • 5+ years of consultancy experience
  • BS / BA / MBA degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrable project management skills and experience leading complex change
  • Finance experience is a bonus
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, sales-led culture
  • Excellent written, oral communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Experienced in PowerPoint and Excel.
