PGIM Investments business is seeking a hands-on leader who can partner with the Product Marketing teams to drive both strategic and tactical initiatives for them. The role will require in-depth understanding of packaged software and the design and delivery of custom-built solutions.  This role will be required to evaluate new products, solutions, and technologies including hands-on proof of concepts (POCs) collaborating with business stakeholders, vendor resource, and technology groups within and outside of PGIM Investments.

 

Strong business knowledge of Product Marketing and Product Management especially as it relates to the asset management industry will be a big plus. Understanding the business data and platforms as it relates to product information is very important. Experience with the tools themselves or the data contained in tools like Morningstar, Lipper, eVestment and MPI Stylus will be a big plus.

 

The candidate will be responsible to work with Business stakeholders, Vendors, Backend and Architecture teams to successfully deliver complex cross-functional projects.  The candidate will design, create, test, and deploy solutions across multiple technology domains and teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep technical expertise to support the strategic initiatives across the Product Marketing organization
  • Engaging in conversations with business partners to identify requirements, needs and gaps aimed at technology driven transformation
  • Ability to work with other technology teams especially the data / analytics team to drive deliverables for Product Marketing is critical
  • Have the ability to analyze the current state of business processes and determine approaches to improve and automate
  • Experience with the Atlassian toolset is required. Ability to create detailed stories that capture the business requirements is necessary for the role
  • Work with the Product Marketing teams to determine and execute on a roadmap of automation initiatives especially as it relates to marketing material automation. Experience with marketing material automation platforms is a plus
  • Will lead a small team of developers and engage with vendors as required

  • Experience with Agile Scrum delivery framework is required
  • Understanding of the enterprise architecture to ensure ongoing alignment, driving the technical roadmap for key applications and platforms
  • Experience delivering business capabilities for the Asset Management Industry is a plus  
  • Prior experience with enterprise integration applications or techniques a plus
  • Exposure to AWS or other Cloud technologies is preferred
  • Experience working with distributed external resources and vendor teams (onshore and offshore)
  • Excellent multi-tasker capable of handling multiple projects at any one time
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Clear, professional communications (listening, oral and written communications)
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated track record as a team player
