**Department Overview:**

The Markets & Securities Services (MSS) Risk and Control function helps establish and maintain a robust control environment and culture across MSS globally. This function develops a proactive control approach assisting management in achieving strategic objectives, promotes efficiency, reduces the risk of loss, and helps ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. In addition, properly functioning internal controls enable management to deal with todays rapidly changing environment and prepare for future growth.

This role will be a part of the central global MSS Governance & Control team, within MSS Risk & Control. The MSS Governance & Control team directly supports a sales and trading environment and is looking for a highly energized, dynamic professional who is ready to join a fast-paced, world leader in the financial services industry. The successful candidate will support the team in the design, development and delivery of operational risk frameworks and associated risk identification measures, risk assessments, controls, remediation and reporting.

**Role Overview:**

Risk & Control is looking for a highly energized, dynamic operational risk analyst to lead licensing & registration and employee due diligence programs for US based Markets employees. The role involves collaborative work in a team environment and liaison with key stakeholders in multiple locations. The successful candidate will also support Governance and Control (G&C) manager implement an enhanced control framework across first and second line functions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Assist with the creation of tracking and summary spreadsheets and slides used for senior management presentations and Conduct event reviews

+ Liaison with key stakeholders including personnel from Business Risk & Control, Business Management, ORM, ICRM and Legal to develop and maintain controls to enhance data and reporting integrity

+ Participate in Ad hoc requests, projects and presentations

+ Serve as central administrator for US-based Markets employees FINRA registrations and licenses using the RETS platform. Monitor and escalate employees who need to obtain licenses. Substantiate completeness and accuracy of RETS portfolio and investigate exceptions

+ Review and monitor supervisory performance of employee due diligence of US-based Markets employees. Perform adhoc maintenance of employee reviewer assignments.

+ Facilitate the global collection of quarterly key regulatory control attestations across Markets for reporting and submission.

+ Work with teams to create business requirement documents and document processes and flows as necessary.


+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines

+ Ability to work cross functionally to coordinate various deliverables

+ Operate in an environment that is dynamic, fast-paced, requires creative solutions, quick thinking, multi-tasking, high energy and timely turnaround

+ Strong organizational leadership and influencing skills

+ Strong business analysis, problem solving and analytical skills

+ Possess a strong knowledge of organizational and supervisory management structure

+ Excellent oral and written communications skills; Must be articulate and persuasive.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio.

+ Knowledge of FINRA Licensing and Registrations preferred but not essential


+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
