This candidate will be a key leader on the team to collaborate with various functions and external partners on the strategic agenda and commercialization plans for the portfolio. As the Marketing Manager on the Meat Snacks Brand & Innovation team, you will lead exciting initiatives such as bringing the new Meat Snacks partnership portfolio to life through design, media & activations, innovation pipeline and partnerships. This experience will also hone skills in building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, influencing up to the highest levels of the organization, and driving for results. Key Accountabilities: Engagement & Activation: Partner with the Marketing Director on Marketing & Communications planning, working with Insights, agency and external partners to deliver effective, consumer-loved programming Develop consumer engagement programs end-to-end, leading agencies and other partners in the development and execution of strategy, communication and creative Lead data analysis across initiatives, and critical strategic deliverables like PSP/BGS, SDD, etc. Grow Innovation Portfolio in Meat Snacks: Partner with Marketing Director to develop a compelling innovation strategy that maximizes profitable growth within the Meat Snacks category Lead the execution of innovation projects/charters as appropriate through stage gate or equivalent process in collaboration with key cross-functional and external partners (solving for production feasibility, product development, P&L management, etc.) Partner with Marketing Director on new concept/pipeline packaging creative including trend analysis, consumer research and design by partnering with external partners, internal design and insights teams as necessary Ensure Launch and Ongoing Business Success: Collaborate with commercial lead to influence commercial leadership and division teams on most viable commercial strategy, selling stories and ideal launch plans Leading cross-functional teams to commercialize key initiatives (across R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Insights, Regulatory, Design, etc.) Managing the day-to-day marketing and business aspects of the Meat Snacks portfolio to ensure the brand hits ticket, net sales, and brand profit targets COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role. Qualifications/Requirements Previous CPG and/or agency innovation experience strongly preferred MBA preferred; Bachelors plus 2-3 years of work experience required Prior experience leveraging consumer insights to influence strategy & execution Strong self-motivator, capable of setting an agenda and actualizing goals Comfortable navigating through ambiguity High Emotional Intelligence and verbal and written communication skills that educate and influence senior leaders; ability to manage up Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively influence an extended organization Can do spirit with an aptitude in dealing with ambiguity facilitated by a penchant for creative-thinking and problem-solving A flexible and 360 marketing/GM like mindset The role is based in Plano, TX Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
