Job of the role:

+ Single point of accountability for the definition, improvement and monitoring of all Marketing Processes in the Commercial organization for the China PBG team, including the collaboration with the different cross functional partners (Medical, Sales, Finance, Compliance, etc)

+ Marketing processes in scope include: Brand Planning, Meeting and Events (sub-process for each type of event planned by marketing and/or sales team), third party collaborations, Content Development and Customer Engagement Programs (CEPs). Ensure marketing processes and sub processes are consistent with relevant company policies

+ In partnership with cross functional teams (Compliance, Procurement, Finance, BT, GCO, Medical) define a continuous improvement plan to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of the Marketing organization. Accountable for the implementation of the improvement plans and the realization of the expected benefits

+ Serve as Subject Matter Expert on processes for any marketing process related discussion, compliance reviews and/or audits

+ Define and monitor efficiency and compliance KPIs

+ Lead team to drive changes on the way marketing works to achieve compliance excellence

+ Ensure appropriate training for the different processes in scope for all the PBG China marketing teams

+ BPO will not be accountable for the executions of marketing processes, nor deviations coming from inadequate execution of steps and/or systems associated with each process

**Primary Responsibilities:**

**Build and maintain library of marketing process and sub processes documentation** Update and maintain detailed process maps for all marketing process, including accountabilities of each steps, systems involved, approval steps (requirements, accountabilities, time expectation for approvals) Liaise with areas owning each of the marketing related process to capture information about processes and open communication channel to solve any potential question regarding the processes Validate source and ownership of training materials regarding all marketing processes Release and maintain official documentation of processes for all areas and teams involved (library)

**Become subject matter expert for marketing process and sub processes** Point of contact for marketing teams and cross-functional areas (compliance, GCO, medical, finance, procurement, legal) for any marketing process / sub process inquire for expertise Local authority to answer questions surrounding process steps, and ability to guide team members to the appropriate cross-functional resources

**Spearhead initiatives to maintain quality of the processes** Identify potential opportunities to optimize marketing processes Work closely with compliance (KPIs, outcomes, audits) to identify potential risk and opportunities to mitigate / address them Serve as escalation point for any potential opportunity for process optimization / quality improvement / risk mitigation Develop, implement and monitoring initiatives aimed to improve quality of the processes, optimize execution and/or mitigate compliance risks. Responsible of gathering relevant team to participate on the effort Design and implement relevant training to marketing team

**Plan and implement China Marketing Compliance Excellence programs to sustain improvements** Lead governance and decision making across solutions and quick wins Ensure timely execution Evaluate and manage resources for each workstreams Plan and manage communication Manage risks and financial impact

**Drive marketing compliance excellence project through effective monitoring of operations** Lead team to develop tracking mechanism and tools to support RTALs in managing compliance risks effectively Implement efficient and standardized tracking tools Dedicate team members to take on operation upon RTALs' request

**People Management and Development:** Manage the performance and development of the team members Provide direction, training and motivation necessary to secure their optimum commitment, competence and engagement Provide coaching and development for team member(s) and create a team environment that drives high colleague engagement


+ University graduate with qualification in Strategy, Finance, Marketing or similar fields - MBA preferred;

+ Familiarity with multinational corporate compliance culture; knowledge in PRC anti-bribery laws and regulations a plus;

+ 15+ years' experience in Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Business Planning, Finance and/or compliance related roles - with emphasis on marketing and strategy and process;

+ Demonstrated strength in managing multiple projects and/or programs and business analysis;

+ Able to interact, partner and provide thought leadership for key stakeholders with comfort and ease;

+ Experience managing projects within matrixed organizations;

+ Excellent oral and written communications capabilities and presentation and facilitation skills;

+ Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities;

+ Strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities;

+ Experienced in team management and people development;
