This position will be a hybrid role between the Marketing and Dealer Services Teams.

As the Marketing Coordinator, there will be a close partnership with the Marketing Manager, the Dealer Services Manager and Auction leadership to ensure that marketing efforts align with corporate goals and support the broader strategy and needs of the market. They will also provide a direct communication link to customers to ensure their expectations are met and service issues are resolved.

* Job Responsibilities:*

* Function as a member of the Field Marketing team, providing marketing strategy at the auction location

* Work with auction leadership at the assigned auction, the Marketing Manager and Sr. Field Marketing Manager to develop marketing strategies that serve the needs of location consignors and overall location goals.

* Ensure strategies are delivered on time, within budget and increase KPIs at the auction.

* Partner with the Marketing Manager to plan and oversee execution of marketing activities for dealers within market and auction facilities including promotions, signage, social media, email and phone campaigns.

* Ensure appropriate corporate marketing signage is displayed at the auction location.

* Partner with the Marketing Manager to create and implement KAM marketing plans as needed and submit COOP requests at the end of the promotional period.

* Track giveaways and promotional item inventory. Ensure appropriate reporting of promotional item receipt to the finance department.

* Work in auction lanes on promotions for commercial and dealer accounts.

* Educates dealers on all Manheim products and services

* Serves as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and location personnel to reconcile problems and to maintain a high level of customer service

* Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves customer problems and issues

* Provide excellent and timely follow up with clients

* Monitors vehicle preparation and sale process and communicates with lane, department managers, market sales team, and other coordinators to ensure each vehicle crosses the auction block on sale day and ensures vehicles are re-run if necessary

* Partners with team to set an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect and that Safety is the #1 priority for employees and dealers.

* Perform other duties as assigned by management.


* High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in business or marketing preferred.

* 1-3 years of marketing and/or promotions and customer service leadership experience required.

* Previous experience in the auto industry preferred.

* Excellent communication (written and verbal), organization and interpersonal skills required.

* Good computer skills is essential. Knowledge of MS Office products required.

* Previous experience with SalesForce, AS400, and Seismic preferred.

* Previous experience with Adobe preferred.

* Ability to work in a high performance, fast paced team environment.

* Ability to innovate ideas and solutions to challenges/opportunities

* Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.

* Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing work environment.

* Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.

* Ability to perform repetitive tasks; manual dexterity.

* Vision abilities required include close, distance, color and depth perception.

*Work Environment:*

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions as well as noise, dust, and fumes in auction lanes.
