Prudential's Marketing Operations and Enablement Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics aptitude/background with experience in financial services, business reporting and measurement, as well as marketing. This role will be responsible for tracking and understanding the performance of digital campaigns using multiple data sources. 

The individual in this role will have intimate knowledge of email database and data processes, overseeing data loads/pulls and overall hygiene. The candidate will help define audience targeting strategy, testing methodology, and measurement of email marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee B2B and B2C email marketing campaigns, including analysis and testing.

  • Assists with maintenance of marketing lists, automated programs and workflows created within our automation platform

  • Monitors lead data quality, imports, email deliverability, database hygiene, and compliance

  • Troubleshoots system integrations and adheres to governance policies

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as business partners, client consultants, Data and Reporting and Sales to support other teams' needs leveraging email as a communication channel

  • Assists with data management (requests/submissions), A/B testing and segmentation strategy

  • Leverages marketing automation tools and CRM to track performance, analyze data trends against business goals, and report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts

  • Consistently ensures that business is always conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with the core competencies of the business

  • Thrives in identifying ways to inform of new ideas, tests, and other improvements for programs using data-driven insights

  • Comfortable providing guidance for competing demands and managing expectations in a high volume, fast-paced changing environment



  • 3-5 years of experience optimizing email marketing and re-engagement campaigns, including A/B testing, audience segmentation, and trigger logic
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or comparable education/experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret numerous key performance indicators;  
  • Experience working with Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency, including v-lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation, and analysis
  • Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail
  • HTML/CSS experience is a plus;
  • Stays current on marketing automation trends and strategies and recommend best practice solutions
  • Previous project management experience
  • Excellent time management skills with exceptional attention to detail;
  • Desire and ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work seamlessly in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility, creativity and problem-solving skills
