Position Summary:

Along with the development of multiple compound payment under global budget, reimbursement payment reform and new medical service models rapidly advanced. And new basic medical insurance (BMI) innovative payment constantly emerging. This position is to support PBG business through providing BMI innovative solutions to cope with the challenges in innovative payment scheme and strengthen PBG products competitiveness under the new payment environment.


Keep abreast of the progress of the BMI innovative payment policies, analyze the impact on the PBG's products and build solution mechanism to maximize PBG business interest.

Base on the in-depth BMI statistic analytics and understanding of payment reform and reimbursement funding management to address BMI cost containment approaches, and support PBG business to reduce the payment risk in new innovative payment, such as DRG/DIP, and other payment models beyond fee for service.

Drive continuous market penetration by digging policy opportunities, including but not limited to the policies of payment differentiation among different levels/types of hospitals,, and city/county hospital alliances.

Explorer multi-channel BMI innovation payment solutions breakthroughs to support PBG business growth, including but not limited to "Internet+" healthcare strategy, solutions for increasing patient's affordability, more reimbursement opportunities, new BMI protocol management system, remote reimbursement settlement,

Deep dive the reimbursement big data analysis to explore potential reimbursement opportunity.

Implement other tasks or projects assigned by line manager.

Accomplish every assignments strictly comply with PBG regulations of compliance and legal.


Bachelor's degree required. A Master's degree in Pharmaceutical administration, pharmacy, public policy, public health, MPA or MBA is preferable.

5 years or above relevant or similar working experience, consulting firm, or MNCs' background is preferred;

Extensively knowledges and interpretation skills among reimbursement / drug policy/ procurement / medical administration / informatization policies.

Policy sensitivity, strong analytical skills, writing, and influencing skills to develop and convey strategies, policies and action plans.

Adaptability and innovation. Outstanding problem-solving skill.

Highly motivated and independent. Strong sense of teamwork. Result-driven.

Excellent written and oral both in English and Chinese with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
