The position of PBG China Market Access Lead is responsible for leading the Access functions of the Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals Group (PBG) businesses in China. This individual will set vision & direction for all access practice including vision, objectives, strategies, tactics and platforms to prioritize/direct initiatives to achieve PBG China business targets and leading position;



**Position Responsibilities:**



+ Responsible for the overall direction, management and performance of PBG China Access;

+ Work closely with PBG China core LT members, to address all access related issue/opportunities for all TA/BU/Categories, to support achieving business goals ;

+ Provide agile response to rapidly evolved policies, and be the single point of contact to provide business implication to related internal teams on timely basis;

+ Develop the market access strategies, maximize market access opportunities at central and local levels to enhance accessibility and availability of Pfizer products, as well as mitigate the barriers and challenges to support the business expansion and growth;

+ Direct central government affair team to strengthen solid relationship with central government (NHSA, NHC, CDFA, MOFCOM, etc.). Play the strategic partner role to set up large scale platforms on national level for new healthcare ecosystem and policy shaping, including QCE, VBP (Volume based Procurement), NRDL, rational use of drug, DRGs, etc.;

+ Direct local government affair teams for policy shaping on multiple layers of local government via various initiatives/projects, including QCE, VBP (Volume based Procurement), NRDL, CDI (Catastrophic Disease Insurance) negotiations, OPCDL (Outpatient Chronic Disease List)/OPSDL(Outpatient Special Disease List) listing, rational use of drug, etc.

+ Drive to develop integrated pricing strategies and daily price maintenance/adjustment, for both inline and pipeline products;

+ Fully leverage all external channels/resources to explore innovative business model, including hospital listing, patient management through 3rd parties;

+ Drive to develop strategies and initiatives to address affordability issue, partner with government to make more patients medicated with quality drugs, i.e. patient assistant program, and other innovative models;

+ Upgrade Access capabilities for PBG China and focus on to develop local talents;

+ Responsible for overall operation, including budget management, culture cultivation, etc.;

+ Ensure compliance with all applicable internal and external standards;

**BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS**



+ Bachelor's degree required;

+ Minimum of 15+ years of access or related experience in the pharmaceutical industry, sales experiences preferred;

+ 10+ years of people leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and provide professional development to a mid to large sized team;

+ Deep experience in China pharmaceutical industry;

+ Global view and perspective with local insights;

+ Sound government/customer relationship or capability for relationship building up;

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and the agility to deliver results quickly in new and unfamiliar situations;

+ Both fluent Mandarin and English, in written and oral forms;

+ Experience in both innovative products marketing and established products marketing referred;

+ Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a fast-paced environment

+ Strong communication, leadership and ability to drive influence across stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding execution
