MAPP Service Center is part of the MAPP Operations CoE under Global Business Services (GBS), Financial Services (FS). Currently the MAPP Service Center is fully operated in Dalian, China and San Jose, Costa Rica to support the APAC and LATAM regions respectively. The deployment for France as the pilot market in Europe has been successfully completed before the year end 2020. Now the deployment for the rest of the Europe markets is being evaluated and implemented.

The GBS MAPP Services Center located in Thessaloniki, Greece will support all Europe MAPP transactions (My Anti-Corruption Policies and Procedures) associated to FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and other regional/local pharma laws and industry code if applicable.

The MAPP Operations Manager position will lead a team of MAPP Analysts and is responsible for managing the workload distribution, the quality of compliance controls, the timeliness and accuracy of data that is produced by the analyst role, and all transactions managed by the analysts are to the highest compliance standards. The Operations Manager role will complete compliance checks for exceptions and certain thresholds and work through any transaction issues or escalations. This role is responsible for communicating compliance risks, exceptions and challenges to the MAPP Service Center Process Lead and/or Center Lead.

The role will report to the Europe MAPP Service Center Lead, and work closely with Europe MAPP Service Center Process Lead.


+ Receive and assign all transactions coming into the MAPP Service Center

+ Detailed review/submission of a sampling of MAPP data/submissions to ensure accuracy

+ Ensure all information by Analysts are properly documented in workflow system

+ Ensure MAPP transactions are in compliance with MAPP policy

+ Ensure team manages all transactions using accurate standard operating procedures and compliance and control documentation

+ Responsible for reviewing completed compliance check list of compliance activities from Analysts

+ Direct interactions with business colleagues to help on the transactions with healthcare professionals and external organizations

+ Responsible for communicating with internal business professionals

+ Work with Legal and Compliance to get approvals for exceptions and suspicious documentation

+ Create and execute healthcare contracts for external healthcare professionals, ensuring fair market value is accurate (per FMV calculator) and the HCP has been qualified (CV review)

+ Raise compliance questions / challenges to Process Lead and Center Lead for direction/ controls


+ Bachelor Degree or equivalent is required

+ 5+ years of experience with accounting or compliance transactions, preferably in a shared service with strong compliance controls

+ Experience with FCPA transactions preferred

+ Management of multiple client stakeholders

+ Management of a large team

+ Previous experience with pharmaceutical companies is preferred

+ Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required

+ SAP / Ariba experience preferred

+ Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities

+ Proficient written and verbal skills to enable effective communication with all levels of management

+ Strong technical skills in managing transactions within a global system

+ Fluency in Greek and English is a must


+ Strong written and verbal communication skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management

+ Strong customer service skills and mindset

+ Understanding of compliance/financial controls

+ Ability to manage a large team

+ Ability to present to senior leaders

+ Strength with multitasking and ensuring accurate detail

+ Ability to work under pressure and to handle managing many colleagues

+ High level of self-motivation, energy and flexibility

+ Understanding of MAPP Policy terms and healthcare compliance policies

+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

+ Ability to manage reporting needs for business, BU, Compliance, Audit, etc.

+ Depending on the supported markets, local language capability is needed

+ Fluency in one of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, German or Hebrew (Preferred)


+ Position might require travel depending on the supported markets or initiatives the person will be involved.
