Sodexo is seeking a Managing Sales Vice President  Global Strategic Accounts

for Corporate Services


The Managing Sales Vice President Global Strategic Accounts will have a strong track record of excellent bid conversation rate, management of complex multi-regional or global deals and building client relations.


This is a virtual sales role. Candidates should be based on the West Coast (San Francisco) or East Coast (NYC) within proximity to a major airport.

Travel is required for success in this role up to 50%.

The Managing Sales VP Global Strategic Accounts will be a \u201cdoor opener\u201d proactively generating and influencing partnership opportunities.  Global Strategic Accounts are Sodexos most strategic accounts where services are delivered globally.  The Managing Sales VP will work closely and collaborate with region/country Business Development Directors, Regional CEOs and service operations within Corporate Services.

  • Solid Project Management skills. Methodical and rigorous;
  • have strong agility skills; the ability to deal with shifting priorities;
  • have unparalleled persuasion, sales influence and closing skills;
  • ability to build links between different parts of a bid for business;
  • can simply articulate complex matter;
  • solid knowledge of regional economic environments;
  • ability to thrive and succeed in a matrixed environment;
  • solid understanding of workplace trends and emerging technologies to support them;
  • international sales experience highly valued.


The ideal candidate will:

  • have 8-10 Years of broadly executive level experience;
  • have expertise in closing complex corporate multimillion-dollar contracts;
  • demonstrate proven success negotiating contracts on a national and global scale;
  • have likely led or significantly contributed to successful bid processes that have contributed significantly to the growth of the organization;
  • recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and analysis;
  • think and act as a global business leader with the ability to translate strategic priorities to business objectives practically;
  • hold a Bachelors degree in Business or closely related field. MBA or Post Graduate degree preferred;
  • completed and/or has knowledge of Miller Heiman sales methodology.

Position Summary

  • Develops and implements the business plan, budget and forecasts to achieve sales, market share, and market growth targets and retention strategies to attain overall financial goals for designated area.
  • Manages planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, CRM data quality, sales program implementation, Sodexo Global Sales Academy behaviours, recruiting and selection of sales force talent
  • Partners with senior sales leadership and Operations Leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvements; fosters relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organizations efficient operation and success
  • Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place
  • Researches growth strategies and competitor practices and strategies to evaluate and implement new strategies.
  • Responsible for developing strategic plan to drive sustained and continuous sales growth for the Segment area of responsibility.  Directs sales force effectiveness and manages functions essential to sales force productivity and/or account portfolio management.  Provides professional leadership to the sales organization in the selling of profitable new business and new revenue growth from the right clients under the right terms for Sodexo.  Upholds Company mission and values and implements Quality of Life offerings in accordance with Segment solutions.  



Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 10 years

Basic Functional Experience - 10 years
