Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a dynamic Managing Sales Vice President to drive business growth for NORAM.

 

This is a virtual leadership role. Candidates should be based in any US South Market with proximity to a major airport. Preference given to candidates within the Houston area.

Travel is required for success in this role up to 60%.

The Managing Sales VP will develop and implement innovative sales strategies to target, grow and sell enterprise solutions in the Energy and Resources segment.  Sodexo serves as a trusted partner for mining industry clients, offshore platforms, renewable energy and other areas where the safety of employees is essential.   

 

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience leading and developing an account playbook ensuring accuracy of sales funnel/forecasting as well as portfolio and client retention;
  • Build and foster relationships across Sodexo internally to ensure additional market growth and the promotion of comprehensive solutions offerings to clients this includes collaborating with senior leaders business;
  • Develop exceptional solutions with a consultative mindset; ensuring Sodexos service offerings/solutions align with client needs;
  • Drive solutions that optimize the current business portfolio;
  • Are experienced at managing diverse and geographically remote teams;
  • Have strong agility skills; the ability to deal with shifting priorities;
  • Have unparalleled persuasion, sales influence and closing skills;
  • Lead and motivate the sales management team, inspiring strategic direction; secure and deploy resources; cultivate relationships with clients and other teams within Sodexo; ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments; sustain client satisfaction and retention; and maintain strong employee relations.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 10 years consultative sales experience;
  • Expertise in closing complex multi-million-dollar contracts (Facilities services/outsourced services preferred;
  • The ability to demonstrate proven success negotiating contracts on a national and global scale;
  • Proven success developing, leading and expanding high performing sales teams;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile, matrix-ed environment;
  • Proven experience recommending sales strategies based on market research and analysis;
  • Executive presence with the ability to think and act as a global business leader, aligning the sales team's values while inspiring commitment toward the business goals;
  • Strong creative skills; proven experience implementing innovative solutions while improving \"hit and close\" rate with clients.

Position Summary

  • Develops and implements the business plan, budget and forecasts to achieve sales, market share, and market growth targets and retention strategies to attain overall financial goals for designated area.
  • Manages planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, CRM data quality, sales program implementation, Sodexo Global Sales Academy behaviours, recruiting and selection of sales force talent
  • Partners with senior sales leadership and Operations Leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvements; fosters relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organizations efficient operation and success
  • Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place
  • Researches growth strategies and competitor practices and strategies to evaluate and implement new strategies.
  • Responsible for developing strategic plan to drive sustained and continuous sales growth for the Segment area of responsibility.  Directs sales force effectiveness and manages functions essential to sales force productivity and/or account portfolio management.  Provides professional leadership to the sales organization in the selling of profitable new business and new revenue growth from the right clients under the right terms for Sodexo.  Upholds Company mission and values and implements Quality of Life offerings in accordance with Segment solutions.  

     

     

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 10 years

Basic Functional Experience - 10 years
