**ROLE SUMMARY**



Enterprise Platform & Security integrates and oversees Pfizer's global infrastructure, IT Operations, and cybersecurity capabilities. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team ensures people are who they say they are and allows what they are authorized to do. The Manager Technical IAM will serve as a technical resource in the Identity and Access Management group and is responsible for the development and management of technologies for the Authentication area. The Manager Technical IAM is responsible for the end-to-end technical hands-on management of technical solutions encompassing Single Sign-On Authentication / Authorization and Access Management processes. The processes and services provided are audited regularly and are required to meet all corporate security policies.



This is an Operations role with global service support responsibilities along with continual monitoring of the service for quality levels, and response to outages or performance issues with a sense of urgency. Keeping services and technologies up and running optimally is core to this role.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Develop and deploy solutions to ensure that Authentication Services are performing according to specifications, meet defined procedures, and comply with applicable information security policies and requirements.

+ Integrate applications and third-party products into internal services and support and upgrade implemented systems.

+ Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve Pfizer security, processes and end user experiences.

+ Collaborate with the Operations Delivery Lead, and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

+ Develop and maintain service patterns used for application integration.

+ Manage technical work activities of contingent worker resources to support enhancements and continuous improvements to services.

+ Support 24x7 oversight of Business As Usual (BAU) operations.

+ Review all changes to the infrastructure and perform routine health checks defined in the team's periodic review working instruction.

+ Participate in Incident and Problem Management activities based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) guidelines.

+ Represent applicable service during information technology audits by internal and external organizations.

+ Ensure that technical aspects of the service are properly documented.

+ Work closely with Architects to implement service enhancements (e.g., Capacity, Availability and/or Functionality).



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.

+ Technical experience with Authentication in Active Directory and Azure AD supporting Authentication.

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

+ Demonstrated the ability to communicate complex technical material to non-technical stakeholders

+ Thorough understanding of enterprise IT operations and service support processes

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with business clients to determine stakeholder expectations and requirements at multiple levels across the organization

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

+ Experience managing medium to large scale global enterprise IT deployments

+ Strong understanding of enterprise IT operations and service support processes

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Master's degree in Information Systems Management, Information Security or related field preferred

+ Prior work experience in an Agile or Scrum environment a plus

+ Microsoft Azure Certification a plus

+ Knowledge in SSO Federation, Access Manager tools and other types of LDAP directories.

+ Advanced security certifications (e.g. CISSP) a plus
