Provides delivery leadership across teams for projects with a high degree of organizational impact delivered on our Salesforce platform. Identifies, proposes, and influences business and technology project plans, solutions, direction, and communications, including deliverables, scope, and cost estimates. Leads work across multiple Technology teams, business stakeholders, and third-party partners and vendors. Maintains awareness and effectively communicates business, technical, financial, operational, architecture and infrastructure risks and issues, and aids in finding creative and timely resolutions to project issues and team obstacles. Leverages and identifies best practices, tools, and data to support and improve technology delivery within our Salesforce eco-system.

*Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties:*

*Work Intake:*

Managing new work requests for development on our existing Salesforce platform.

Work with Salesforce platform architecture team to ensure that the design and integration of customer solutions with Technology and business partners leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology and DevOps practices.

*Coordination and Cross team Interaction:*

Coordinates efforts among teams and organizations to develop effective delivery scope, schedules, budget and influences action items that need to be complete to successfully complete solution execution, without collision impacts.

Engages with vendor partners to secure technical resources needed to execute technology projects

Manages third party partners and vendors across lifecycle of programs, projects, and end-to-end solutions.

Works closely with technology and business senior management to fully understand delivery, functional and operational priorities across related business and technology roadmaps and in-flight project portfolios

Partners with cross-functional departments and team representatives to manage resource participation and change impact schedules with technology activities and releases, ensuring business needs are adequately supported

Facilitates and leads governance and ownership discussions across functional groups, technology teams, and key stakeholders to identify and validate technology solution strategy, scope, plans, execution dependencies, and key deliverables.

*Management: Customer, Personnel and Project management:*

Manages activities, personnel and technical issues associated with providing end to end delivery solutions to customers and stakeholders by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported issues and perceived risks

Proactively understands customers business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and technology. Forecasts, reports and manages changes on established project budgets and financial targets.

Manages phases of approved Technology projects for assigned function including development of technical requirements and justification, analysis of potential solutions, and preparation of appropriate project plan and/or purchase requisitions

Coaches and develops people resources to maximize strengths and develop strong, collaborative partnerships within the Technology organization and across business functions. Advises and coaches team members on priorities, best practices, problem solving, technical direction, and standard methods.

Qualifications: *Minimum: *

- 5+ years experienced required in related field (e.g. IT, Engineering, Software Product Development); 5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

- Experience in delivering Salesforce based projects in Sales, Marketing and/or Service clouds

- Strong knowledge of program and portfolio management in services industries

- Excellent soft skills such as interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaboration to work effectively with directors and teams throughout the organization

- Technical vendor management experience


- BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (computer science, engineering)

- Experience and knowledge in telecommunications industry

- Experience in deliverying complex and integrated systems

- Experience with delivering Saleforce based projects (Sales & Marketing clouds, Service cloud, Field Services cloud)

- Experience with delivering integration solutions using Mulesoft

- Experience with delivering integration solutions using Vlocity OM and CPQ

- 3+ years recent experience in a management role

- Experience leading diverse matrix multi-vendor teams
