Manager, Planning and Analysis, role at PGIM Center is a highly visible and critical role that spans four broad areas of focus:


Forecasting, Analytics and Insights:

  • Lead quarterly and monthly forecasting process along with development of the presentation materials
  • Continuous Improvements: lead discussions on content and format improvements that help make the forecast presentation content more usable from an executive consumption perspective
  • Technology Improvements: drive development and adoption of new technology-based solutions to drive further efficiencies in the forecast process
  • Investor Relations: Provide key analytics support and insights in collaboration with PGIMs senior management team for earnings call preparation for Prudential COO 

Business Partnering

  • Collaborating with the PGIM Strategy team and the PGIM CEOs office on various recurring engagements and one-time projects
  • Requires partnership with each business unit planning and analysis team, up to and including direct working relationships with business unit senior management / CFO
  • Attend and participate in quarterly forecast and actual financial review meetings with each business unit

Ad-hoc Projects

P&A role provides dynamic opportunities to provide analytics support to the PGIM CFO, CEO and Strategy team and CEO on variety of different scenarios ranging from analyzing impact of flows from industry trend of active-to-passive to understanding the fee yield trends in context of our newer investment strategies and asset class diversity



The role will lead an experienced Specialist and also require a high degree of collaboration working with and leading eight different business finance teams within PGIM, functional teams such as Tax and Centralized Expenses, Controllers team and Prudential Corporate counterparts (Domestic businesses team and Corporate).




Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis or reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA, or CFA) is a plus
  • Proven ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results
  • Experience performing advanced multi-scenario financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong desire to learn new technology and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Basic understanding of the Asset Management Industry is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience with Prudential Financial systems (Obero / Smartview, Oracle etc.) a plus
