ADP is hiring a Manager -- Operations (General). Manages the daily activities of the operational departments in a remote Service Center to ensure efficient and effective delivery of optimal service to internal and external clients. Determines training requirements. Provides continual communication and coordination of functional activities to other regional departments to ensure effective client support. Provides department reports/updates to management and participates in the decision making process within the Service Center as required.

  • Plans, directs and controls the daily activities of the Operations Department which could include; Traffic, Production, Print Operations, Facilities, Teledata and Warehouse.
  • Conducts interviews, performance evaluations and salary planning for department personnel.
  • Sets and communicates goals to achieve the overall operation goals as measured by quality survey results, business retention, profitability, etc.
  • Reviews and provides budget, activity and progress reports to region in accordance with scheduled deadlines.
  • Ensures maximum system utilization, all production and user needs are met and all issues are resolved rapidly.
  • Measures and improves productivity through the use of statistical reports.
  • Plans for and controls the scheduling and data base function.
  • Restructures routes as needed to improve efficiency.
  • Performs other relevant duties and assignments as directed.


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in experience and education.


  • 7+ years experience scheduling multiple shifts and managing direct labor.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot bottle necks and flow problems.
  • In-depth working knowledge of "operations" and proven proficiencies in prioritizing critical client issues required.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Expereince in data hygene, goverence and design autority
  • AI and/or machine learning 
  • Ability to assess performance and provide motivational support to team personnel required.
  • Effective communication skills required, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in time management and client conflict resolution necessary.
