The Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for strategically supporting a team of sales professionals focused on developing and growing provider relationships in order to drive prescription volume to the pharmacy and meet or exceed sales goals. This is a brand-new team that will support the unique providers diagnosing and treating rare diseases with complex therapies, including gene therapies. A highly visible position charged with ensuring accountability to sales goals are achieved through data analytics on call targeting, goal achievement metrics, and sales force effectiveness. This role will also be responsible for the development of a CRM tool that supports the various sales teams (provider, manufacturer and distribution) in order to develop a contact database and track activity to improve sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and finance teams to design, and implement a sales incentive plan within budget that achieves sales goals and motivates the sales team
  • ""
  • Work with internal resources to recommend and implement a customer relationship management tool and a sales reporting tool for tracking sales performance.
  • ""
  • Analyze and report sales data and achievement of sales targets on a timely basis
  • ""
  • Make recommendations on process improvements to increase the effectiveness of the sales force
  • ""
  • Minimize administrative work of the sales producers
  • ""
  • Understand the competitive landscape and ensure the team is trained and focused to succeed in establishing Optum Frontier Therapies as the pharmacy partner of choice.
  • ""
  • Work closely with internal teams to relay market intelligence so the teams can respond and continually improve services to meet customer needs
  • ""
  • Work with internal resources to manage the operational logistics of sales meetings and activities such as POA planning, local customer support, conference attendance and marketing collateral
  • ""
  • Understand the payer landscape and develop strategies to maximize the potential of contracted relationships
  • ""
  • Ensure sales force compliance with regulatory issues and maintain necessary documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar operational role with analytical responsibilities
  • ""
  • 2+ years of CRM platform experience, such asSalesforce.com
  • ""
  • Proven ability to set priorities and manage team to meet key objectives of the business
  • ""
  • Documented history of developing strategies to support a sales team in the quest of exceeding sales goals, including sales forecasting
  • ""
  • Experience designing sales territories to meet sales objectives
  • ""
  • Proficiency working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • ""

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
