**ROLE SUMMARY**

**This operational position delivers day-to-day communications and scheduled reports of the VRD Chief of Staff for the Office of the SVP and Head of Vaccine Research and Development.**

**Under the direction of the VRD Chief of Staff and their delegate(s), this role is responsible for handling multiple projects, priorities, processes, and information flow to ensure deadlines and obligations are met toward the success of crucial VRD initiatives.**



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ **Define, develop, and execute communications projects and measure their impacts across diverse channels and audiences.**

+ **Provide guidance to the VRD Site Affairs team and Chief of Staff pertaining to internal events by optimizing and focusing time on the highest priority areas and taking primary responsibility for overseeing/driving logistical aspects (e.g., offsites, site visits, site events, onboarding/offboarding, etc.), and providing logistical support as directed to VRD-LT meetings, events with educational institutions, teambuilding, and other group events.**

+ **Create agendas, coordinate pre-read and presentation materials to ensure adequate content, and follow up on action items directly.**

+ **Compile and generate relevant scheduled reports and presentations from recruiting and staffing data.**

+ **Serve as VRD's liaison with Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs).**

+ **Work proactively with colleagues in VRD, WRDM, CRGs, enabling functions, and internal and external communication teams to support planning and management of VRD's communication needs.**

+ **Identify opportunities and drive initiatives to build and improve colleague engagement and culture and work closely with Operations and Site Affairs to effectively promote such activities.**

+ **Proactively bring forward ideas for process improvements and more efficient operations.**



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ **Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in STEM, Communications, and/or related Business fields**

+ **5+ years of experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry - with Pfizer experience preferred, particularly in WRDM**

+ **Demonstrated portfolio of work includes scientific events, LT visits, broadcast communications, videos, web sites, PowerPoint presentations, chart and graph production, and literature reviews with metrics, analytics, and insights.**

+ **Demonstrated understanding of Biopharmaceutical organizational systems and structures to collaborate, share knowledge, influence best-practices and coordinate workflows and efficient processes.**

+ **Demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness, initiative, and management of multiple priorities under pressure, with tight timelines, and with minimal supervision.**

+ **Demonstrated proactiveness and ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization across multiple lines and all levels of the organization, even without direct authority.**

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ **Master's Degree in STEM or related Business fields preferred but not required.**

+ **Advanced proficiency in Excel 365 (formulas, pivot tables, graphs/charts) preferred but not required.**
