Manager, Journey Lifecycles

Who You Are

The Digital Lifecycle Journeys team seeks a leader to drive the strategy and execution of the connected customer, partner and Cisco digital engagement including content, channels, analytics, optimization and automation. This person would lead the team responsible for designing customer segmentation and targeting. This person will develop a productive and innovative strategy for personalized content, customer segmentation, targeting and analytics to ensure were targeting the right customer, at the right time, and with the right message in a way that results in increased adoption, bookings, retention and, ultimately, success for Cisco customers.

What youll do:

Manage the development of content and the technical decisions regarding content management for assigned programs

Oversee the creative vision of digital programs

Lead the overall strategy and apply best practices for digital engagement and segmentation across digital channels including content, digital channel execution, optimization, targeting, frequency, order, and timing

Guide the development of audiences for automated digital customer journeys, delivering the right content, at the right time, to the right person, in the right way leveraging automation wherever possible

Present data-driven recommendations and strategies based on analytics, data science, and contextual knowledge of the available data. Must be able to understand data automation. Must be able to think logically through segmentation on marketing campaigns

Use data analytics to monitor, analyze, and measure effectiveness of digital efforts to monitor and ensure optimal impact on the customer experience

Partner with product development, subject matter experts, and marketing disciplines across the company to develop customer journey attributes and deep personalization that secure differentiation in the marketplace

Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and incorporate applicable data and automation solutions into all campaigns.

Stay up to date on points of view from leading industry analysts and key influencers in the market

We are seeking high-energy and qualified candidates who possess the following skills and experience:

10+ years of experience in a content development and strategy, digital marketing or related field, preferably in the tech industry with experience executing across numerous digital channels.

Must have expertise in marketing automation platforms in order to drive marketing automation strategy for the company

Exceptional leadership, writing and presentation skills; ability to leverage various types of media to tell factual stories clearly, creatively, and succinctly

Demonstrated effectiveness in working with development organizations, sales, marketing and channel teams

Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or Masters Degree is a plus

You will work cross functionally with the Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, and IT organizations, playing a leadership role in transforming Cisco by developing and implementing analytic models and intelligent automation to drive us toward a data-driven digital organization.
