**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Inventory Management Manager is part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for cGMP production of phase I/II clinical drug substance supporting the Pfizer Biotherapeutics portfolio.



The successful candidate will lead a 1st shift a team of 5-7 colleagues responsible for warehouse management and materials coordination.



The successful candidate will be positioned to influence continuous improvement of all phases of Inventory Management with a focus on technology, facilities, operations, general practices, and SOP's.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ People management - providing supervision, guidance, mentorship and development to a team of Inventory Management colleagues

+ Responsible for all ACMF Inventory Management areas (warehouse storage, receiving area, drug substance storage, etc.)

+ Responsible for execution of Inventory Management processes including receipt, inspection, shipping, delivery, cold chain, and management of electronic inventory system (Microsoft Axis360.)

+ Assure GMP, quality and safety within Inventory Management areas

+ Collaboration with ACMF Operations, Quality Assurance and other Pfizer Materials Supply / Inventory Management teams.

+ Responsible for assuring compliance with Pfizer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies along with all applicable worldwide regulations and guidelines (e.g. FDA, TSA, MHRA, DEA).

+ Focus on Continuous Improvement, process efficiency and enhancing partnerships with key partner lines (i.e. Operations teams, Tech Transfer)

+ Support investigations and audits as needed



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ BS in a biological or engineering discipline +7 years of experience, AS degree + 9 years of experience, or HS diploma + 11 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.

+ Experience in a GMP environment with increasing responsibility is required.

+ Proven ability to troubleshoot complex processing issues and ability to make decisions with minimal guidance required.



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Understanding of warehouse and inventory management principles.

+ Demonstrated capability to work across functional areas such as development, maintenance, quality and regulatory.

+ Good communication skills, verbal and written, are required.

+ Management experience is highly desirable.

+ Working knowledge of automated production systems, inventory management systems with ability to manipulate and troubleshoot.



**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**



+ Must be able to climb flights of stairs and be standing for ~1-2 hours at a time.

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.



**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



+ Ability to work off shift (Nights and Weekends) as needed; non-routine

+ Ability to work in a clean room environment
