This Manager will also support and manage Hours of service, CSA scores, FMCSA compliance, Driver fitness, Driver Qualification files and Drug and Alcohol programs. Responsible for interpreting large sets of data and making strategic decisions while understanding the financial impacts. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cp\u003EResponsible for the day-to-day, and strategic, management of International Drayage, Mexico cross border shipments and expedite import freight.\u003Cbr /\u003E Responsible for managing Drayage P\u0026L, shipment visibility \u0026 reporting and invoice auditing/processing.\u003Cbr /\u003E Support and execute strategic transportation initiatives including strategic sourcing of drayage expense, chassis fleet management and streamlining of operational/financial processes and reporting.\u003Cbr /\u003E Responsible for interpreting large sets of data and making strategic decisions while understanding the financial impacts. \u003Cbr /\u003E Responsible for direct management of 6 container management companies (CMCs) and 2 airfreight providers.\\Responsible for building strategic relationships with key US ports of entry and rail interchanges\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ENATURE AND SCOPE\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Reports to Sr. Manager, Director Sr. Director or VP \u003Cbr /\u003E Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations. \u003Cbr /\u003E Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches. \u003Cbr /\u003E Typically considers new courses of action within broad policies and medium-term goals when solving problems. \u003Cbr /\u003E Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Environment: \u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Located in a comfortable indoor area.
