Job Description

As the Facilities Manager you are directly responsible for the facilities team and every dynamic about the office space in Boston, MA. You will provide direct support to the local leadership team and will work hand in hand with the Director, Real Estate and facilities to create an inspiring, engaging and hospitality-like experience for our employees and guests. You will be responsible to provide leadership in the pursuit of continuously evolving the Office Experience for the office.


Facilities Team

  • Manage and mentor the Facilities team
  • Being an active and visible leader for the Boston office and promoting a culture that is reflective of LogMeIns values
  • Collaborate with other Facilities teams around the globe on projects both big and small

Office Environment

  • Oversee property management services including maintenance of building and mechanical systems, janitorial service and supplies, and health & safety in a demanding environment that requires the highest level of service delivery.
  • Responsible for ensuring the team has prompt response times for our internal ticketing system
  • Participates in defining strategies and plans related to facility operations, employee onboarding, space planning, real estate and facility moves
  • Provide timely updates to the Financial Planning team (supplies, changes in vendors)
  • Develop and manage vendor service contracts and request for proposal processes, including obtaining vendor price quotes, preparing contracts and purchase orders, reviewing and approving invoices.
  • Explore and implement new methods and best practices to increase efficiency throughout the office, and improve sustainability
  • Act as on-site liaison for managing vendor service contracts and request for proposal processes, purchase orders, space planning, tracking, move coordination, and new hire space accommodations.
  • Plan and coordinate onsite events in support of the of the new collaboration needs and remote work centric when needed


  • Assist with access control, badge distribution and tracking
  • Help plan, arrange, and when necessary manage security of company events

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in relevant professional organizations, seminars and conferences for facilities, operations, project management, etc.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years experience and a proven track record of success in facilities management and operations
  • Ability to set priorities, train, supervise, motivate and delegate
  • Ability to understand, and communicate to clearly to team
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Strong project management skills. Excellent ability to define and execute a plan on time and with-in budget
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple requests and work in a fast-paced office environment, proven record of effecting strategic change and initiatives where prudent.
  • Service-minded and strong customer service focus, flexible and open to new ways of doing business
  • Must be proficient in several computer systems including MS Office programs
