The purpose of this position is to provide management, oversight and support to the Enterprise Resiliency & Response program and provide leadership and business continuity (BC) expertise to business continuity planners and executives within the organization. This position requires Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills, and responsibilities will include work withinternational andLatin Americabusiness segments.

This position also requires the ability to act as an Event Management Lead and will need to be placed on a rotation for on call duties. A major focus will be quality assurance and testing of plans, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of business continuity plans for critical business functions in order to maintain continued operations, asset protection and loss mitigation in the event of a disruption. This includes exercising recovery plans and recovery teams using a variety of exercise styles and scenarios. Other key activities include coordinating BC efforts and acting as a subject matter expert; working with segment BC teams to develop, update, enhance, and monitor business continuity plans; and assisting in enhancing, formalizing and standardizing the business continuity planning process, including monitoring and measurement mechanisms. Event management activities include facilitating the decision making and communication process used to respond to major events affecting our personnel, business operations, and/or site locations, and analysis of time sensitive information and development of actionable intelligence in support of decision making, reporting and statistics during events

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct BC exercises and subsequent exercise reports, monitor for remediation and certification of plans.
  • ""
  • Analysis and preparation of key risk indicator reports, including operational data to identify and assess areas of existing and emerging business risks/losses.
  • ""
  • Quality review of business impact analysis and BC Plans
  • ""
  • Research, analysis, evaluation and reporting on the business continuity program
  • ""
  • Participates with development of program objectives/strategies, timetables, and resource assessments/requirements.
  • ""
  • Ensures measurement tools are in place to evaluate effectiveness of program. Interprets internal policies as they relate to programs.
  • ""
  • Develops reports and delivers presentations to management regarding recommendations related to programs.
  • ""
  • Develop communication, training and educational programs related to program outcomes.
  • ""
  • Ensures projects adhere to strict budget and timeframe constraints.
  • ""
  • Ensure internal & external best practices and learnings are incorporated into policies and practices to sustain ongoing risk readiness posture and policy compliance.
  • ""
  • Provide leadership as needed to the Event Management Team to facilitate timely identification, escalation, resolution and follow-up on incidents and issues

  • Flexible to work 24x7, 365 on-call shifts as assigned
  • ""
  • Ability to travel as required

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
  • ""
  • Fluentin English plus fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish languages,in order to work with international business segments.Written andverbal,professional communication skills required.

  • 6+ yearsof risk management related experienceincluding business continuity (BC), disaster recovery (DR), crisis/incident management and/or relatedauditexperience
  • ""
  • 4+ years project management experience
  • ""
  • Demonstrated presentation skills, including the ability to interface with executive management
  • ""
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels to build strong team relations.
  • ""
  • Demonstrated organizational and communications skills, including the ability to listen effectively, understand varied business concepts, and effectively communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
  • ""
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to analyze unique customer environments and suggest appropriate BC / DR solutions and resources).

  • Demonstrated customer service skills, strong level of business impact focus and sensitivity.

  • 5+ years of experience in incident management, crisis management/response, business continuity (BC), disaster recovery (DR) planning, safety or security functions.

  • Proven knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and principles, including current industry standards and practices.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) are desirable certifications.
