The role:


Prudentials Customer Office is seeking a skilled, experienced Manager, Product Marketing to accelerate growth and lead engagement with existing Prudential direct-to-consumer customers.


In alignment with our Financial Wellness strategy, we are continuously evolving our Product Marketing strategy. Youll partner with a team of talented marketers, product managers, business unit managers and UX/UI experts to deliver best in class cross-channel engagement experiences to support direct response objectives for new customer acquisition, early engagement, loyalty, and cross-sell across our retail investment, insurance, and income/annuity products.


You will work to create and test cross-channel engagement experiences to deepen customer engagement and further the Prudential brand.  The Manager, Customer Engagement will be instrumental in driving the evolution and continuous optimization of Prudentials Customer engagement strategy in support of our customers financial wellness journey with a primary focus on offers, the web, account logged-in digital experience, and email channel.


The right candidate will be able to balance customer experience with achieving business outcomes.


We are looking for an experienced direct-to-consumer marketer with solid background on successful customer engagement strategies.  The ideal candidate would have experience in the Financial Services industry, as well as with marketing strategy, engagement channels (web, email, mobile/app, etc.), lead generation, customer acquisition (CAC), optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and a proven track record of innovation to drive engagement.


Responsibilities


Develop and implement a customer engagement vision, strategy, and road map to drive new account leads and conversion, profitable behavior among existing customers, and cross-sell. 

  • Drive cutting-edge customer experiences and engagement strategies across channels: digital, direct mail, statements, etc.

  • Execute and implement customer engagement campaigns through entire lifecycle (strategy, creative, deployment and analytics) along with securing input and approval from primary stakeholders

  • Ongoing evaluation of campaign(s) success through data analysis and reporting

  • Develop test and learn engagement strategy to drive economic value for the business

  • Partner with technical and platforms teams to enable personalized experiences and deploy trigger-based-engagement strategies (primary focus on our logged-in digital experience and email)

  • Problem solving and ideation to continuously increase customer engagement. 



Qualifications
@!*!
  • 5 years of experience in direct-to-consumer engagement/marketing.  Bachelors degree, MBA preferred

  • 3 years of experience in Financial Services, investments preferred

  • Direct response/performance marketing orientation with a track record of building and implementing exceptional marketing campaigns and sales results and conversion improvements

  • Proven experience in gathering and transforming business/customer needs into an actionable product marketing plan, and marketing plans into leads and sales forecasts, and creative briefs. 

  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to effectively work independently, as well as part of a team

  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills and comfort and ease in presenting to senior executives

  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to form strong business relationships at all levels

  • Curious and innovative mindset that inspires those around them (regardless of level) to be creative and try new things

  • Familiarity with Maxymiser or other A/B and Multivariate testing platforms is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
