The Manager, ES Business Operations is primarily responsible for the following:

+ Planning and executing all internal communications for ES

+ Managing nominations and submissions for PGS Recognition Program

+ Analytics in the areas of IMEx workstream of ES Visual Management (include T5/T4/T3 metrics) and ES operations database (a subset of ES Digital Strategy/iGES)


She/He is accountable for the following:

+ **Communications** - In support and alignment with Pfizer's Mission and Values, ensure that ES highlights, organizational changes, etc are communicated regularly and/or in a timely manner to ES Community and PGS. Ensures that ES participates in internal opportunities to promote awareness of the ES activities, vendor capability improvement initiatives, organizational capabilities and achievements. Drives, plans and coordinates participation with ES LT and PGS Communications. Establish a structured process with ES Community to ensure that there is a constant stream of key highlights are available for communication. Includes ES website management, videos and global forums

+ **Recognition Program** - In accordance to PGS Recognition program, provide guidance to ES Community and coordinate submissions of nominations. Establish a system to capture recognition that occurred at T4 Business Review Meetings, etc . Ensures that ES is participating fully in internal programs to recognize and reward performance and achievements. Drives, plans and coordinate this participation

+ **Training -** Ensures ES Community has access to training for required non-GMP systems and business processes

+ **IMEx workstream of ES Visual Management** - Lead the Leadership Ecosystem Element of Visual Management (one of the 5 elements of IMEX Leadership Ecosystem). Work with Metric Owners to ensure timely and accurate reporting of T5/T4/T3 ES Metrics on a monthly basis. Ensures that ES Community has access to, or results from, appropriate and advanced systems for measuring, visualizing and reporting operational, EHS and Quality metrics and KPIs. Ensures that ES Community, VSOTs and VSLTs are aware of, and have access to, advanced information technology tools, and systems (e.g. software and enterprise system) for data collection, data analysis, visualization, decision making and collaboration

+ **ES Operations Database** - Working very closely with Digital Team, ensures that ES information (e.g. vendor/product details, governance charts) appearing in presentations, database and other media is current and accurate; through the ES Operations Database that is aligned to the annual budget

+ **Special Projects** -Responsible for working on ad hoc projects, as assigned


Level of Education:

+ Minimum Bachelor's degree (Economics, Trade, Engineering, Science or Management) or related discipline

+ Formal education in manufacturing is preferred


+ Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience

+ Project Management and/or Operational Excellence experience is also highly desirable

+ Working in a global environment


+ Fluency in English

Knowledge & Skills:

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must

+ Demonstrated ability to participate in teams at all levels of management

+ Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter

+ Must have expert knowledge in MS Office Suite (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

+ Well-developed interpersonal skills including leadership, integrity, team orientation, flexibility, and creativity

+ Experience in projects that require collaborative approaches; strong analytical skills; ability to understand business issues and processes

+ Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements

+ Knowledge of IMEx is strongly preferred
