This position will be directly responsible for Project and Capex Management. In this role, the CAPEX Manager sees all aspects of proper plant function. This individual is a business advisor to maintenance, production, and distribution and mitigates risks associated with managing assets by encouraging interdepartmental partnership focused on the goal of reliable and profitable production. Just as a business advisor must balance policy and diplomacy, this role must be dedicated to preserving asset reliability, managing risk, and overall improvement of plant operations.

  • Oversee capital budget allocation/spend
  • Invoicing for all vendors
  • Communicate project status Approval / PO
  • HQ Period Project list oversight
  • Meet with local teams on daily/weekly changes and updates the execution plan with the teams buy-in.
  • Financial responsibility for ensuring period by period forecasting and on track to achieve the plan
  • Provide analysis on accruals and spending to broad-based customers including account owners, Supply Chain Leaders Maintenance Planners, and Department Leaders
  • Reviews Vendors and competitive pricing
  • Partner with receiving and maintenance teams on control process procedures (SAG/SOX compliance)
  • Supports Site Business Units
  • Provide root cause investigations and trending for significant and/or recurring failures/opportunities
  • Analyze key performance indicators to evaluate current processes
  • Ensure assigned equipment criticalities for mechanical systems & components are appropriate for the required safety, quality, and productivity impact of failure
  • Maintain applicable technical specifications & site requirements for mechanical system components subject to operating failure from wear (reliability components)
  • Support project work to ensure reliability components of specified equipment are appropriate for the application


  • Four years of technical or engineering degree required
  • Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to think quickly, creatively and challenge the team to do the same
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Leadership and management skills required
  • Highly motivated, self-starter
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy needed to work with software packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Team building skills to lead the maintenance team and drive results
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs would be beneficial
  • Financial knowledge would be beneficial

The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with great people skills that is a creative problem solver. Experience with team-based management would be beneficial. Joining this team allows for the chance to learn about many aspects of the business and supply chain.
