**What You Will Achieve**



Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in the movement of materials and finished goods within the plant, office or warehouse. As a materials handling expert, you will be entrusted with receiving, storage, inventory control, internal distribution, and shipping, in compliance with corporate standards. To enable you to accomplish this task, you will make use of a variety of equipment, such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks.



As part of the Technical Operations team, your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

**How You Will Achieve It**



+ The Logistics Vaccine Distribution Specialist will perform the following:

+ Initiate replenishment orders in SAP, organize deliveries by carrier, and mode of transport.

+ Support vaccine picking activities as needed

+ Print and organize distribution labels for use in processing vaccine shipments.

+ Performs RF scanning on finished goods loads to assure they are packed, and post goods issued in a timely manner.

+ Manage and coordinate inbound insulated containers and Dry Ice to maintain adequate inventory levels

+ Work closely with other internal and external customers to and ensure orders can be created, picked/packed, and shipped to meet customer need-by date.

+ Resolve system and process issues related to order processing and shipping and reach out to support personnel to resolve issues in SAP as they arise.

+ Create and verify all required shipping paperwork including BOLs and invoices.

+ Works closely with the transportation onsite providers to coordinate outbound shipments.



**Qualifications**



**Must-Have**



+ High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus

+ An Associate /Bachelor's degree, OR

+ Veteran/Military experience, OR

+ 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or GMP facility (e.g. current or previous Pfizer colleague or contractor or similar)

+ SAP Experience required

+ Warehouse/Distribution experience preferred



**Nice-to-Have**



+ Bachelor's Degree

+ Warehousing experience



**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**



Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required. Job will also entail occasional weekend, shutdown and holiday coverage. Job will require off-shift support.



**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



+ 2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:20 pm

+ No travel expected

+ Potential to work a 7-2, 7-2, 7-3 work schedule. Over a four week period, works Mon-Sun (7 days), off Mon-Tues (2 days), works Wed-Tues (7 days), off Wed-Thurs (2 days), works Fri-Thurs (7 days), & off Fri-Sun (3 days). Weekend, holiday, and overtime may be required to meet business or customer needs. This operation will work 24x7x365.
