**Sodexo** is seeking a **Field Marketing Coordinator** for the **Lehigh University** located in **Bethlehem, PA** . Located in Pennsylvania's beautiful Lehigh Valley, Lehigh is one of the nation's most distinguished private research universities. Valid drivers license is required.


Sodexos Marketing staff work with operations teams to develop marketing strategies that provide a high level of service and innovation for multiple cafes, catering, micro markets, brands and retail stores. Marketing is focused on growth strategies for increasing sales for the unit, improving customer satisfaction and promoting Sodexos Brand.


**The successful candidate will:**


+ support and assist the existing Field Marketing Specialist and marketing interns in the development of creative marketing initiatives for the on campus dining program at Lehigh University

+ be responsible for successfully coordinating marketing activities throughout the enterprise

+ strong marketing background, writing skills and social media management experience

+ strategic leadership, talent management, as well as exceptional communication and project management skills

+ proficiency with strong computer skills, with a preference for experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

+ excellent communication skills with interpersonal skills

+ ability to work well in a campus setting and interact with students to create a positive overall experience with dining services

+ client relationship skills and the ability to quickly respond to client and management needs

+ the ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload

+ experience with social media marketing and graphic design is required. Experience with food service operation, digital signage programs, photography, videography is a plus

**Position Summary**


+ Supports growth by executing growth initiatives, including: Non-Mandatory Sales/Pricing/Retail & Catering/New Sales & Retention/eCommerce & Mutualized Promotions

+ Executes cascaded plans intended to increase customer insight/satisfaction through Surveys/Focus Groups/Engagement Promotions and relevant technology

+ Supports program awareness through a physical presence at site

+ Manages and updates social media accounts

+ Implements Sodexo promotions utilizing Sodexo marketing kits, creates monthly calendars, napkin inserts and flyers

+ Updates and maintains digital menu boards

**Position Summary**


The Coordinator will effectively serve as a point of contact for events such as caterings, reservations, bookings and other services. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.


**General Responsibilities:**


+ Serves as a point of contact for reservations, bookings, equipment, catering and other suchservices.

+ Communicates to internal and external clients.

+ Performs some administrative tasks such as arranging meetings, developing agendas andpreparing progress reports.

+ Coordinates logistics, setup/knockdown and on-site problem resolution.

+ May assist in daily coordination of projects, including preparing and maintaining project plans,budgets and staffing requirements.

+ Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles.

+ Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

+ Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

+ Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

+ Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

+ May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Experience/Knowledge:**


+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.

+ 0 to 2 years related experience.

+ Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.

**Physical Requirements:**


+ Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

+ Significant walking or other means of mobility.

+ Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

+ Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.


**Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):**


+ Generally in an indoor setting; however, may supervise outside activities and events.

+ Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.

+ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
