Who you'll Work With

As a Leader, Regional Sales you will motivate, inspire, and continually develop your team of Account Manager while taking on new competitors as Cisco continues to gain market share outside its dominating data networking core. You will use your strong background in executive-level communication combined with experience building customer and partner relationships. In this strategic role for Cisco you will also position and promote partner value proposition and you will be leading a team of Account Managers in the development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships. As part of a truly Global Team you will also work cross-functionally with various members of EMEA produce, services, pre-sales, operations and customer experience teams.

 

What you'll do

You are sales Leader, driving sales success of Swiss Public Sector business by achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading creation of and executing a coordinated and collaborative strategy to maintain and build wallet share, improve margins, productivity and bookings.
  • Directing all field sales processes and running short term (quarterly, annual) and long term (strategic) bookings strategy.
  • Actively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with sales personnel managed. Providing a management-level point of contact for key customers and maintain strong customer relationships up to CxO level.
  • Determining efficient coverage model for the accounts based on the selling strategy, and in line with sales motions.
  • Develop & attract talent to a consistent and high level of proficiency in sales and sales leadership with diverse skill sets and representing diverse internal requirements to achieve stated strategy.
  • Building short and long term plans based on research and deep understanding of business trends and market competition.
  • Leading forecasting efforts among the team ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis.
  • Tight alignment with the EMEA and Global product sales, Services and Partner organization teams in areas of partner planning, resource management and services engagement.
  • Build and drive the effective use of the programs, tools, processes and best-practices into the team and field sales teams where applicable.
  • Drive a focus on continual evolution of our partner led model to drive expansion for the Public Sector business.

This key leadership role will continue the development of our sales delivery model through the capability development of our highly talented and motivated sales organization. Setting a vision and building strategic business decision-making capability to the next level will be a major factor for success in this position.

 

Who You Are

Should you be interested in this role you should come with:

  • Working knowledge and experience in selling technology solutions to key Cisco customers in Switzerland combined with a proven track of records.
  • Ability to develop complex sales plans and strategies.
  • Understanding of customer needs and Cisco sales cycles with an outstanding ability to accelerate sales.
  • Experience in influencing senior level partner and customer executives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German combined with ability to describe market transitions, and motivate and inspire people.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to develop and lead direct and virtual sales teams as well as to collaborate with a variety of supporting organizations.
  • The role is to be located in Switzerland.
  • Sound business sense and decision-making ability combined with Executive MBA and Cisco Product and Services portfolio knowledge is welcome.
